Ms. Cherry Bloom

by Dutch Fashion Doll World

Next Saturday it’s Italian Doll Convention time!!! And I can’t wait to go. Yesterday the online Charity auction ended. Such a great event to start this convention.

They raised €13259,35! I really like it that a lot of doll conventions raise money for charity and that so many artist and collectors donate the most gorgeous ladies.  And the charity doesn’t stop here because also during the IDC they raise money with events like the raffle room. And I have a sneak for you from an ooak creation that is donated by the talented artist Marcelo Jacob.

Her name is Ms. Cherry Bloom and here is her description:

She’s a Japanese girl that was adopted by Spanish parents. Now she is going to Milan to work at the IDC2014  as a hostess to help many other kids around the world. That is why she went to see Marcelo Jacob. To dress her in a perfect mix of cultures. Here is the final outfit specially designed and handmade by him. Less is more. This blend of cultures gives you the softness of the pure silk, the shine and fancy touch of the Chanel crepe covered by wrapped black organza, a stylish ” obi” used as a waist band and the roses in her hair finish the perfect mix of the Japanese and the Spanish culture.

I can’t wait to see this beauty in real life.

Marcelo Jacob is also bringing some gorgeous fashions with him from Spain that he will be selling during the roomsales at the IDC this year. So when you are going to this event don’t forget to stop by this talented designer.
