National Barbie Doll Convention part6
by Dutch Fashion Doll World
On Wednesday Morning I had my workshops.
This was so much fun to do. I showed my “students” 😉 how to make paper silkstone miniature dolls. And I was so proud because everybody finished and went home with a complete set of miniature dolls.
That evening we had the Silence Auction. This was the first time I saw all 800 conventioneers together in one room.
The silence auction had so many gorgeous items. Here a few of my favorites
ooak doll by Ibrahim Ismail. Love the hand painted paisley pattern.
Ooak doll called Parisian Glamour by Zlatan Zukanovic for Mattel. Here are some of her official pictures.
And Aurore, The sleeping beauty by Cotho.
I also made something for the Silence auction.
It’s a Barbie shop filled with miniature dolls.
The doll is dressed by Hilda from Belissima Couture.
The auction was so exciting and at the end the shop raised $3400 for charity.
Amazing! I love your fabulous diorama. You must be very proud of your students too. It’s lovely to see the one off Barbies created for the event, especially for a non attendee.
Look like you have a GREAT time, and your miniatures are GENIUS,
Rogier 😉 😉 😉
Your work really is awesome!
Drooling over the mini Barbie shop … it is amazing.
