I made some new Poppy Parker miniatures and this time it’s the complete 2014 and 2015 collection

 

 

They are both sets of 19 miniatures and I will make 10 of each.

Poppy Parker Miniatures

So today starts the 2016 Integrity Toys Convention. This year theme is Supermodel Lager than Life on the Catwalk.

Today is early registration and of course ROOMSHOPPING !!!!

And when you are attending this convention you have to visit the room of my friends Hilda Westervelt from Bellissima Couture Fashions and Rebecca Berry from Inside the fashion Doll Studio. tonight at 7:00 CDT. Here you can find the most stylish fashions and the best accessories.

Here a few sneaks of the work of my friends that they will be bringing to convention.

I am not at this convention. So I will take over Inside the Fashion Doll Studio and will blog for both of my friend and me. So for the latest news about all the fun at this convention keep checking our blogs this week.

But my miniatures will be for sale at this convention. My friends have with them the miniature BFMC display and this years Poppy Parker collection in miniature.

So if you dolls need some dolls to play with find stop by at my friends room during roomsales or find their table on Friday at the Fashion Bazaar.

Mini Theater Video

I love it that my mini’s are traveling all over the world. I always love it when people send me pictures how they display them with their dolls. And yesterday I got this stock motion video with my Vintage Barbie and Ken Theater mini that I just have to share here.

This video is made by the Chinese doll photographer Echo. And I think it’s so great that she put it in a theater with a Blythe doll. it makes the whole scene a bit romantic surealistic.

And how cool is it that at the end we see the artist with the same hat as her doll drinking tea with them.

Danish Miniatures

 I’m always looking for nice 1:6 scale Barbie Furniture.

I really like the Bespaq style and some of the vintage Sindy doll furniture. But this morning while looking on the internet for furniture I saw this Danish brand called Danish Miniatures. And they do classic Arne Jacobsen designs in 1:6 scale.

Normally I’m not into these modern style pieces but then I saw the Egg Chair in a Paul Smith fabric and I fell in love.

This would be so perfect in combination with the Mad Men Silkstone collection. And in my head I was picturing Joan Holloway next to the green striped edition.

The Egg chair is also available in some nice Kenzo fabrics and in Black Leather.

They also have miniatures from the Swan, Ant and Seven Chair. They made a 3d scan from these design for the perfect measurements. And all the materials and production processes are close to those used by Fritz Hansen A/S in the production of the full-sized chair.

But for now I first have to collect the Mad Men Silkstones because they are still missing in my collection.
